Compliance & commitments

The standards that govern how we work: safety, quality, ethics and Nigerian content.

Health, safety, environment & security

Bridgevine Resources Limited recognises the hazardous nature of its operations, and the consequences of any failure to observe, check and control, or completely eliminate, the acts and conditions that could lead to accidents or incidents. We are committed to:

Health
The health of everyone directly involved in our operations, at all costs.
Safety and security
The safety and security of all the human and material resources we employ or engage in our operations.
Environment
The environmental friendliness of all personnel, materials, facilities and methods used in our operations.

Quality management

Bridgevine Resources Limited is committed to delivering all products and services fit for their intended use, in strict compliance with our clients’ contractual requirements, ISO standards and statutory requirements.

We apply the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) and safe, quality service to meet or exceed our clients’ needs, for both internal and external customers.

Business ethics & supplier relations

We are committed to the highest standards of business ethics and corporate compliance. It is our policy to deal only with organisations whose ethical standards are compatible with our own.

A core part of our policy on business conduct is compliance with all applicable laws. Our management and employees are subject to, and must comply with, all applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. While some of our policies are based on legal requirements, others reflect our broader commitment to ethical business conduct.

Nigerian content development

Bridgevine Resources Limited is an indigenous company wholly owned by Nigerians, and fully committed to the Nigerian Content Development (NCD) policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

  • We have a strong understanding of the local business environment and close working relationships with indigenous sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • We transfer know-how, expertise and general competence from our technical experts to Nigerians, with verifiable programmes for employment and training on all our projects.
  • Our policy is to engage Nigerians for 100% of our personnel and to source up to 100% of materials locally, where available and applicable. Continuous training of local staff has made this possible.
  • Where foreign expertise or partners are needed, we engage them on contract terms, and they are required to train our local workforce for future assignments.
  • Our head office, facilities, workshops, yards, plant and equipment are located in Nigeria, ensuring strong Nigerian participation in all our activities.
  • We work within the scope our clients give us, in line with Nigerian content directives, and always promote the use of Nigerian content in our activities.
